"Christine gently accompanied me as I gathered together the pieces of my life ... gave me confidence to put my dream into words and almost literally held my hand as I forged a new reality. And the best thing is that a year on, I'm stepping into my dream, so great is the sense of certainty Christine instilled in me. Many, many thanks.” Caroline Vidican, France,

Life doesn’t come with a ‘how-to’ manual – most of the time we just make it up as we go along but that can prove difficult, costly and sometimes painful.
We might not think twice about seeking professional advice from an accountant or solicitor when buying a property or from a garage when something goes wrong with our car but who do we turn to when we are hit by major, life-changing events?
Separation, bereavement, a change of job or location (either chosen or imposed) can knock us off balance, seriously shake our confidence and leave us feeling vulnerable and unsure what to do for the best.
Working with a professional coach at such a time is a proactive way of regaining control of your life and steering a way through the crisis.
“Coaching with Christine gave me the opportunity to think more clearly at a time of personal change. She provided wise counsel, support and encouragement and her sessions were rooted in common sense. I enjoyed and valued our sessions, which I believe represent excellent value for money.” Chris Moon-Willems,
Senior Manager, Social Services What is coaching?
Working with a coach means being supported, one-to-one, as you take charge of your life once more. It involves moving forwards in a structured and focused way at your pace and to your agenda.
A good coach will not attempt to influence or advise you but will help you to work out exactly what it is you want – and then how to go about getting it.
Your coach will be impartial in a way that a partner, best friend or family member would find difficult. Together with your coach you will look in depth at the values that govern your life and the options and choices that are realistically open to you — options you may not have been able to see on your own in your present situation.
"Working with Christine has transformed every corner of my life, from my relationships to my earning potential. Her approach is unique and very powerful." Esther Waite, www.estherwaite.com
Coaching is an investment in your future. It will help you to identify old behaviour patterns and learn strategies for dealing differently with a range of situations, strategies that will stand you in good stead for the rest of your life. About me
I worked with many people as they dealt with their own major, life-changing crises before I became an accredited life coach.
My empathy and listening skills were acquired during my time as a Samaritan volunteer and trainer. My organisational and planning skills are a result of years in business and training. My sense of compassion was developed during my own life journey – when I fell into more deep, dark holes than I care to remember. Turning my often painful and lonely experiences around and using the wisdom gained to help others to manage their own lives a little less painfully is a source of unending joy for me.
I was fortunate enough to meet many wise and generous people on my journey and those who helped me the most were the ones who gently but firmly challenged me, encouraging me to change what I could and to come to terms with what I couldn’t.
I think I’ve spent my life waiting for coaching to be invented and I truly believe everyone should have a coach to hold their hand over the difficult bits.
I have coached clients in both the UK and Europe and my home is in Lancaster in the north west of England.

turn your life around? Christine's enthusiasm is infectious–
she makes you want to move forward.” Wendy J. Dickinson
How I work
I coach over the telephone in pre-arranged, hour-long sessions, which means you don't have to travel anywhere and sessions take place in the comfort and privacy of your own home. I aim to fit in with clients' schedules and sessions can be at weekends or during the early morning or evening.
In the first one or two sessions we will focus on where you are right now and what it is you wish to deal with or change, in both the short and the longer term. We will then start to identify the small, manageable steps necessary to move you towards your stated goals. In subsequent sessions we will reflect on progress, talk through the obstacles that inevitably arise as we make changes in our behaviour and outlook, and adjust the plan as necessary.
My fee is £60 per session, payable in advance of each session. I no longer recommend a minimum number of coaching sessions because you will notice the difference from the very first session and you will also know when you no longer need coaching. Often former clients will get back in touch for support through another 'bottleneck', having discovered the enormous benefit of professional, focused support at a difficult time.
If you’re curious about coaching and think it could offer you the personal support you need at the moment contact me to arrange a free 30-minute telephone consultation. That way you’ll have the opportunity to decide whether coaching would be appropriate for you right now.
There’s no obligation, so there’s no reason why you can’t pick up the phone and call me right now on +44 (0)1524 62371.
I guarantee that if you work with me your life will change — it’s that simple!
“Coaching with Christine is never like a lecture … more like a private chat with your own guardian angel.”
